About me

I was born in 1956 in Bonn and grew up with seven siblings in Brussels, Washington and Geneva. I studied Political Science in the USA, Journalism at the Institute for Journalism in Mainz as well as Documentary and Television Journalism at the Film School in Munich.

I am a mother of two adult children and have been working as an editor and freelance journalist in Munich and Berlin over the last thirty years, writing columns and publishing children’s books (under the name of Beatrix Schnippenkoetter). In addition, I was also active as a sculptor for a long time.

After the unexpected and early death of my husband, I embarked on a new journey and have made it my task to help people in an advisory capacity. My life experience has sensitized me to existential topics and sharpened my view for the essential. The meaningful approach of Existential Analysis and Logotherapy seems to me to be especially helpful for people who are looking for support and orientation in times of upheaval.
